OK, here is my last Dick Allen fantasy card for a while. I will readily admit, these are a lot of fun to make, but these things are chewing up my time. This is a 1958 Topps version of a late in his career Dick Allen. The original photo was taken at Wrigley Field in 1975. No question on which first name to use on this one. The Phillies cards from this year had several different colored backgrounds, including light blue, black and yellow. I chose yellow because it contrasts nicely from the powder blue uniforms the Phils wore during the 1975 season.

Just not diggin'(nor did I ever dig) those "ocean blue", movie theatre usher, mid-70's Phillies road uniforms...a classic road gray should be the law in Philadelphia. And, you know what, not crazy about that soft yellow/cream circa 1948 ground on the uni either. GREAT work on the card itself and the others throughout the site. THANX for the hard work
