Topps unveiled the new design for their 2013 baseball cards on Friday.
Of course that meant that I had another card to add to the Dick Allen legacy card project.
There is no eligible former major league player more deserving for enshrinement in the Baseball Hall of Fame than Dick Allen.

Do you like this design? At least it has the logo on the front
I actually do like the design. I would rate it 7 out of 10. I love the baseball field graphic design and team logos are soooo much better than having the team name in text. I would have like the player name to be a bit larger and darker. Lastly, I prefer designs with the players position included.
The real key for me will be the photos Topps chooses to use.
yeah ... designs need to have the position on the front. And I personally like the team name spelled in text. But that's just me.
I like it because it looks a lot more traditional than the hi-tech look they have been going with over the past 10 years. The only negative in my book is that the player name is way to light. A more traditional Black color Franklin Gothic Demi font would have made this a 9.5
I like it and would love to mod the psd for the Cubs but I'm having difficulty changing the colors in Photoshop, any tips?
