Rookie Vance Worley was called up from the minors to start for the injured Joe Blanton and pitched six shutout innings to beat the Mets. Ryan Howard led the offense with two homeruns and 6 RBIs, including a grand slam. It was the 10th grand slam of his career, a franchise best.
