Familiar Faces / Strange Places: Manny Ramirez / Rays

I thought I'd post another one of these, considering the recent "retirement" news for Manny Ramirez.

Once considered a first ballot hall of famer, I now doubt he will ever gain entry into Cooperstown without a ticket. He is one of 25 players to hit 500 career home runs. Ramirez's 21 grand slams are second to Lou Gehrig's 23 and his 28 post-season home runs are the most by any player in MLB history. He was a fixture in the All-Star Game with 12 appearances including eleven consecutive beginning 1998.

Manny played five games in Tampa and got one hit before he was caught once again for "violating" the MLB performance enhancing drug policy. Rather than become the first major league player in history to face the mandatory 100 game suspension, he retired.

Nothing but unkind words for ManRam. Very, very unkind words.

Love the custom, though.
