Getting noticed

My baseball card project is generating some interest in this site. We were recently mentioned in Phungo, a blog dedicated to Phillies focused baseball card blog. We also made it onto the pages of Philadephia Will Do, a very interesting blog with great photos and insight into Philadephia sports. Thanks for noticing my little corner of the internet guys, I have added your sites to our list of links.

I also just noticed that PhillyBurbs.com grabbed one of my early attempts at a Dick Allen card redux. Based on the article, it looks like the post was from December. I am only six months late.

Dick Allen Baseball Card Project: 1977

This is the final entry for my Dick Allen Baseball Card Project. Topps did not produce a 1977 card, his one and only season with the Oakland Athletics. It wasn't a good fit. The A's were in decline. Allen was at the end of his career. He was signed in the middle of Spring Training, played 54 games, got pissed off because Charlie Finley was a dishonest scam artist and retired for good this time.
